This targeted deworming kit is ideal for horses classified as low egg-shedders based on their annual Fecal Egg Count (FEC) test results. Developed by Valley Vet Supply’s Technical Service Veterinarian team, the program offers a simple and effective solution for maintaining optimal equine health with just two deworming treatments per year.

What’s Included:

• Quest (Moxidectin) – Administer on April 1

• Quest Plus (Moxidectin + Praziquantel) – Administer on November 1

These Zoetis dewormers provide broad-spectrum parasite control and are conveniently packaged to align with seasonal treatment timing.

Veterinary Recommendations:

• Perform Fecal Egg Count (FEC) tests annually for each horse.

• Conduct a Fecal Egg Count Reduction Test (FECRT) every other year to monitor dewormer efficacy.

• In large herds, FECRT can be limited to a representative sample of six horses.
